The Face of Poverty

Did you know that 1 in 3 people in Honduras suffer from critical hunger? Children all over Honduras spend their days scrounging for food, hiding from danger, and missing school for poverty related reasons.

The POI children’s program is strategically planned to help these children escape this hard life and the devastating cycle of poverty.

Children in the POI program receive daily tutoring and reinforcement lessons, nutrition, and medical care. When we have the opportunity to meet these basic needs, hearts are softened and doors are opened to share the gospel with these children and their families.
